you deserve the world

My world is filled with
           low res cat memes with texts,
           an orange that rolls in my bag,
           unnecessary grocery shopping trips,
           soft stuffed animals with silly little names,
                       and
                                        a warm hand on my head.

So when I give you –
            handbaked, stupid cat memes with text,
            the bigger half of the orange I brought for lunch,
            an extra portion of my comfort food,
            a little friend to keep,
                         and
                                       a gentle pat on your forehead –

I mean it when I say, “you deserve the world.”
Because I’ve given you all of mine.

           And I hope everyone else does the same for you too.
